Being an Agent of God

Have you ever gone out for Sunday dinner after church and noticed someone treating the wait staff poorly? Or maybe you've found yourself behind a slow driver, growing impatient—honking your horn and muttering as you pass by?

As Christians, we are God's agents. That means we represent Him in all that we do, not just at church but in everyday moments—on the road, at restaurants, at work, and even online.

Think about your job. When you're on the clock, you represent your employer. If you were to misrepresent them—acting unprofessionally or irresponsibly—you might be reprimanded or even fired.

So, why would we treat our role as God's representative with any less care?

The truth is, people are watching us. They’re watching how we respond under pressure, how we treat those who serve us, and how we show (or don’t show) grace. If we claim to be followers of Christ, our actions should reflect Him.

Let’s choose to act with kindness, patience, and love. Let’s walk in the fruits of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

Represent God well. After all, we’re not just wearing His name—we’re carrying His message.
